Marianne Smit

Marianne Smit is a seasoned professional in recruitment and human resources with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Global Recruitment Manager at ORTEC since September 2017, Marianne has played a pivotal role in establishing the recruitment department, implementing LinkedIn Careers, and launching employer branding initiatives. Concurrently, Marianne has taken on a part-time role as a firefighter candidate with Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden. Previous experience includes senior corporate recruitment roles at Careyn, as well as various positions at TU Delft, where responsibilities included managing student exchanges, coordinating PR for events, and driving employer branding efforts.
