Bastiaan Roos

Bastiaan Roos is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering and management. Since February 2017, Bastiaan has been the owner of Roos Geo Solutions, contributing expertise in geo-solutions. Concurrently, from January 2014, involvement as a Brandwacht at Veiligheidsregio Hollands Midden has demonstrated commitment to safety and emergency services. Prior experience includes significant roles at Nelen & Schuurmans, where Bastiaan served as Technical Director, Head of Software Development Department, Consultant, and Software Developer from September 2003 to February 2017. An earlier engagement as Brandwacht at Gemeente Katwijk from January 2010 to December 2013, along with an internship at Nelen & Schuurmans in 2002, laid a strong foundation for subsequent achievements. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Business Administration with a focus on Management of Change from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (2006-2011) and an MSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology (1997-2003), complemented by a VWO degree from Adelbert College (1991-1997).
