Heleen de Boer-Bouwhuis

Heleen de Boer-Bouwhuis is an experienced professional in the field of healthcare management and crisis coordination. Currently serving as a Procesmanager netwerk gedwongen zorg at GGD IJsselland since June 2021, Heleen collaborates with network partners across eight municipalities in the Zwolle/Hardenberg region to address the theme of involuntary care under relevant legislation. Additionally, Heleen acts as the Secretary for biannual executive meetings focused on involuntary mental health care in Overijssel and has held the position of Acting Executive Secretary, responsible for meeting preparation and policy development. Since January 2009, Heleen has been associated with Veiligheidsregio IJsselland, functioning as the Point of Contact for medical care during crises and serving as a policy officer within the GHOR framework. Previous roles include policy development in regional health services and transdisciplinary affairs. Heleen holds a degree from Maastricht University and a Post HBO in Integral Quality Management from Windesheim, with a foundational education from Florens Radewijns College.
