Zurab Chemia

Zurab Chemia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in billing and software engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Billing at Velos IoT since October 2022, Zurab has previously held similar positions at JT IoT and has a strong background as a Senior Software Engineer at JT Group Limited. Noteworthy academic contributions include roles as Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on numerical modeling and software development for geodynamical processes. Additional postdoctoral research experience includes work at the Geological Survey of Norway and the University of Bayreuth, as part of the Marie Curie Research Training Network. Zurab's educational background includes a PhD in Solid Earth and a Licentiate degree from Uppsala University, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Tbilisi State University.
