Dr. Lars Herhold

Dr. Lars Herhold serves as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Velsera since December 2023, overseeing Information Security, Compliance, IT and Business Systems, as well as Quality and Regulatory Affairs. As the CEO and Founder of ThixoAM GmbH since November 2019, Dr. Herhold is pioneering a patented metal 3D printing process. Previously, Dr. Herhold held roles including Chief Information Security Officer and Germany Country Head at CALYX, where significant advancements in information security were achieved post-separation from Parexel. Dr. Herhold's extensive career at Parexel spanned over two decades, where multiple leadership positions in Information Security and Quality Management were undertaken. Academic achievements include a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville and several teaching positions at universities in Germany.
