Michael Spira

Michael Spira is a seasoned political professional with extensive experience in lobbying and legislative affairs. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Venn Strategies since July 2016, Michael previously held the position of Vice President within the same organization. Prior to this role, Michael was a Senior Lobbyist at the American Pharmacists Association from July 2011 to July 2016. Michael's career in government included significant roles within the U.S. House of Representatives, working as Chief of Staff for Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy, Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Ed Perlmutter, and Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy and Congressman Bob Filner. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Applied Politics and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, both from American University.
