AMIT SOLAPURKAR

Amit Solapurkar has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Validation Intern at AppliedMicro, where they benchmarked for Blackmamba and conducted USB2.0 hot plug validation. AMIT then continued at AppliedMicro as a Validation Engineer II, with responsibilities including the complete ownership of QM/TM IP and post-silicon validation of NSS. In 2013, they became a Senior Post-Silicon Validation Engineer, focusing on RDMA validation and X-gene2 bring-up.

In 2018, Amit joined Portland State University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they graded coursework and assisted students in ECE 597 Post Silicon Electrical Validation and ECE 508 Computational tools. Furthermore, in the same year, they worked as a UEFI BIOS Intern at Intel Corporation.

From 2019 to 2023, Amit worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, contributing to various software engineering roles. Most recently, they joined Ventana Micro Systems as a Staff Engineer in 2023.

Amit Solapurkar's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. AMIT then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University from 2017 to 2018. In 2017, Amit also completed two nanodegree programs related to machine learning and deep learning from Udacity.
