Markus Warmuth

Markus Warmuth is an accomplished executive in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Ventus Therapeutics and as the Chief Executive Officer of Monte Rosa Therapeutics since September 2019. In addition, Markus holds the position of Venture Partner at Versant Ventures and has experience as an Independent Board Member for IMV Inc. and Relay Therapeutics. Previous roles include Entrepreneur In Residence at Third Rock Ventures and leadership positions at H3 Biomedicine as President and Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer. Markus's career in drug discovery includes significant contributions at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation. With an MD degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Markus is also recognized as a Medical Oncologist and Principal Investigator.
