Abigail Calmes

Abigail Calmes is a Staff Engineer at Verdantas since May 2021, with prior experience as an Engineer Intern at Hull & Associates, LLC from August 2019 to January 2022, and Jones & Henry Engineers from January 2019 to May 2019. At Hull & Associates, responsibilities included preparing estimates and geotechnical reports, as well as conducting research on coal harvesting and reuse in landfills. In earlier roles, Abigail contributed to project management and budgeting while preparing client estimates and drawings. During a research position at The University of Toledo, tasks involved writing a literature review on biosorption and conducting laboratory tests on water samples. Abigail holds a degree from the University of Toledo, where studies were completed from 2017 to 2021, and attended Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio from 2014 to 2017.
