Sujata Ramamoorthy

Sujata Ramamoorthy is an accomplished leader in cybersecurity with extensive experience in securing digital platforms and engineering operations. Currently serving as AVP and Executive Director of Platform Security at Verizon since June 2021, Sujata leads initiatives focused on Cloud Security, Software Security, and IoT within the Corporate Cyber Security group. Prior to this role, Sujata spent nearly 21 years at Cisco, holding various senior leadership positions, including Sr. Director of the Security & Trust Organization, where responsibilities included overseeing security engineering and governance for Cisco’s business operations and cloud services. Sujata's earlier experience includes technical roles at Albin Engineering Services, Informix Software, and Altos India Ltd. Sujata holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Portland State University.
