Katie Stetler is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in program management and health planning. Currently, Katie holds the position of Director of Public Health Planning and Improvement at the Vermont Department of Health, a role commenced in November 2022. Previously, Katie served as the Maternal and Child Health Program Manager at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health from October 2015 to October 2022 and gained valuable experience as a Public Health Prevention Service Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from October 2012 to October 2015. Additional roles include social services volunteering at HAVEN Free Clinic, serving as a Teaching Fellow at Yale School of Public Health, and leading projects for the Uganda Village Project. Katie's education includes a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Global Health from Yale School of Public Health and a BA in Sociology from Bates College.
