James Lee

James Lee has extensive experience in investment and management across various sectors, particularly in technology and healthcare. Currently serving as General Partner at Vertex Growth since November 2018, James focuses on global growth-stage opportunities. Additionally, as Managing Director at Vertex Venture Holdings since January 2017, and previously as Managing Director at Roots Capital Partners, James has been involved in independent asset management, risk management, and investor relations. Prior roles include Executive Director at Vertex Venture Management, where responsibilities included end-to-end deal-making for early and growth-stage technology startups, and General Manager at Fullerton Credit Services, which focused on SME financing in China. James's career in the military as a Joint Plans Staff Officer with the Singapore Armed Forces laid a foundation in organizational transformation and planning. James holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Oxford.
