Alessandra santa-Ana

Alessandra Santa-Ana is an experienced Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance professional with a strong background in oncology and regulatory coordination. Currently serving as an International Pharmacovigilance Specialist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2024, Alessandra previously held roles such as Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Transformative Pharmaceutical Solutions, where leadership was provided on Pfizer Inc.'s Breast Oncology trials. Prior positions included Clinical Research Coordinator II at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, collaborating with sponsors and the Children’s Oncology Group, and a series of roles at Moffitt Cancer Center, where multiple clinical trials were coordinated. Education includes a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida, where studies are ongoing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution.
