Kim Gochioco

Kim Gochioco is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in external manufacturing and process engineering. Currently serving as Associate Director of External Manufacturing at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since October 2020, Kim previously held roles as Senior Manager in both External Manufacturing and Process Engineering. Prior to this, Kim worked at Amgen for over 11 years, where responsibilities included managing External Process Development and roles in product development and research. Kim began a career in pharmaceuticals at Patheon as a Pharmaceutical Technologist. Academically, Kim holds an Honours BSc in Neuroscience and Anthropology from the University of Toronto and a MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The University of Kansas, along with additional training from the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology.
