Ransi Somaratne M.D.

Ransi Somaratne MD is a highly experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since January 2023 and as an Independent Biopharmaceutical Consultant at Iles & Somaratne Biopharmaceutical Consulting, LLC since September 2021. Previously held roles include Chief Medical Officer at ENDPOINT HEALTH and Spring Discovery, and Chief Medical Officer at Epirium, where Ransi led clinical development for innovative therapeutics.
