Sean Kane

Sean Kane is a lawyer and business executive who has worked in the legal and entertainment industries for over 20 years. Sean is currently the Secretary of the Board at VGBA, a position they have held since May 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at VGBA from May 2016 to June 2017. Sean has also worked as a Special Counsel at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from July 2010 to January 2014, where they represented clients from the firm's Intellectual Property and Social Media & Games practices. In addition, Sean was a Partner at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz PC and the founder of Kane & Associates LLC, which they ran from February 2004 to July 2010. Sean began their career as an Associate at Hall Dickler, LLP from September 1998 to January 2004. Throughout their career, Sean has represented clients in transactional matters involving various entertainment, communications and consumer products business segments, such as video games, social games and social media, mobile games and applications, virtual worlds and other uses of computer software. Sean has also litigated complex business disputes in federal and state courts at trial, appellate levels and in ADR forums throughout the country.
