Leslie Blalock

Leslie Blalock possesses extensive experience in auditing and financial management, currently serving as the Chief Audit Officer at VIA Metropolitan Transit since February 2014, where responsibilities include executing the audit plan, reporting findings to the Board of Trustees, and managing various audit projects. Previously, Leslie held roles at Grace Lutheran Church and PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc., overseeing financial operations and internal audits, respectively, with a focus on cost savings and compliance. Additional experience includes advisory consulting at Deloitte & Touche, where Leslie developed data analytics skills and managed quality control processes. Leslie holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
