Baris E. Polat

Baris E. Polat, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Global OSD External Supply at Viatris since November 2020 and also holds the title of Head of Supply Chain for Global Integrated OSD & API Operations. Prior experience includes multiple senior leadership roles at Mylan from June 2011 to November 2020, focusing on Global OSD Operations and Strategic Manufacturing. Earlier, Baris E. Polat conducted postdoctoral research at the Koch Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2005 to June 2011, specializing in active drug delivery methods. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Earlier internships included research positions at Dow Chemical and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
