Matthias Messer

Matthias Messer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and business development, currently serving as Vice President of Advanced Engineering at Vibracoustic since December 2018. In this role, Matthias leads initiatives in materials development, engineering simulation, vehicle testing, and digital transformation within the engineering domain. Prior to this position, Matthias held multiple leadership roles at Freudenberg Group, including Director of Technology Assessment, where responsibilities included technology exploration and the strategic management of growth areas. Matthias has also contributed to Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, overseeing future technology and lean engineering initiatives. Academic credentials include a PhD and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Certificate in Global Management from INSEAD.
