Nicolas completed his PhD in Robotics at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne under the supervision of Aude Billard. In his research, he applied robotics and machine learning tools to improve robots’ ability to interact with their environment, in particular by providing them with the capacity to use artificial skin.
Nicolas enjoys beach-volleyball, learning new languages, and sharing wine with friends. He is also fond of magnets and LEDs.
