Georges Silva

Georges Silva is an accomplished industrial director with extensive experience in the cement industry. Currently serving as the Regional Industrial Director at VICAT since May 2022, Georges oversees operations in West Africa, including Senegal, Mali, and Mauritania. Prior experience includes over a decade at LafargeHolcim, where Georges held various roles, including Industrial Director and Plant Manager, managing multiple cement plants with significant production capacities and employee oversight. Previous positions also include roles at Saint-Gobain, Placoplatre, and Lafarge France, where Georges demonstrated expertise in maintenance, supply chain management, and operations. Georges holds an engineer's degree from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
