Shankar Bali

Shankar Bali is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the telecommunications and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the Joint Managing Director at Vidal Health since October 2019, Shankar is focused on navigating the challenges of the health insurance market in India. Previously, as Director and CSO at Novopay Solutions Private Limited from 2014 to 2018, Shankar built a network of over 50,000 retailers across 22 states, significantly contributing to the company's financial services. Shankar has held pivotal roles such as COO for MTS India and Hutch Sri Lanka, where substantial revenue recovery was achieved within six months, and COO roles at Vodafone with a history that includes sales and marketing leadership. Shankar began the career as a Product Manager at Network Limited and holds an MBA from Panjab University.
