Gautam Mehta

Gautam Mehta is a seasoned commercial leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Global CX Acceleration Director at ViiV Healthcare since April 2024. Prior to this role, Gautam held various leadership positions at Bayer from September 2011 to December 2023, including Head of Sales & Marketing for the Oncology TKI portfolio, where substantial achievements included tripling sales for Stivarga in its launch year and executing a digital-first model for the first tumour-agnostic drug. Gautam also led initiatives to enhance operational excellence and customer experience across Bayer’s UK organization and contributed to the company’s strategic business consulting efforts in a range of roles. Additionally, Gautam has a strong educational background with an Executive Education in Marketing from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in Biotechnology and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology from Jaypee University.
