Preethi Raju

Preethi Raju is a data scientist with extensive experience in quantitative research and data analytics. Currently serving at Viking Global Investors since 2024, Preethi previously held the position of quantitative researcher at Woodline Partners LP from 2021 to 2024, focusing on alternative data and quantamental strategies. Preethi's background includes roles as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a data scientist at Blackstone, where diligence and portfolio operations for adtech startups were a key focus. Additional data science experience was gained at Vungle, along with significant contributions at BlackRock in research and financial modeling. Preethi also founded Pavan, a startup targeting air pollution in India, and has held various positions in finance and academia. Preethi holds a Master's degree in Information & Data Science from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Biology from the University of Chicago.
