Husein M. Merchant

Husein is a Senior Analyst at Village Capital. For India programs, he helps companies develop robust financial models and level up to the next stage of investment readiness. He also works with the Africa, LatAm and USA regions and oversees all investor facing material.

Prior to joining Village Capital, Husein worked with Deloitte. During his time at Deloitte, he worked on a variety of clients ranging from some of India's largest private sector banks to private equity funds. He has also worked on complex regulatory and consulting assignments.

Husein is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and attended H.R. College of Commerce and Economics from where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He resides in Mumbai.
