Dr. Bannet Ndyanabangi

Dr. Bannet Ndyanabangi serves as the Vice President of Global Programs at VillageReach since April 2023. Prior experience includes a distinguished tenure at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from January 2009 to April 2023, where positions held encompassed UNFPA Resident Representative to South Africa and Country Director for Botswana and Eswatini, as well as Regional Director a.i. for East and Southern Africa. In these roles, leadership was provided to large teams ensuring effective program delivery, resource management, and advocacy at high policy levels. Notable accomplishments include overseeing national census preparations, leading substantial funding negotiations, and contributing to strategic development plans in fragile states. Previous roles include Chief of Party at Management Sciences for Health and Program Manager positions focused on reproductive health and HIV/AIDS initiatives, and a Medical Officer at Rubaga Teaching Hospital. Dr. Ndyanabangi holds multiple degrees in Medicine and Public Health from Heidelberg University.
