Antoine Gonthier

Antoine Gonthier is a charged de mission Interpellation citoyenne and Doctorant CIFRE at the Ville de Grenoble since September 2020, focusing on local democracy and citizen participation. Gonthier's research involves a comparative analysis of citizen engagement mechanisms at national and international levels. Prior to this role, Gonthier served as a development officer at the Institut Alinsky and worked as a mountain guide from May 2012 to July 2020. Gonthier also contributed to nature education and social outreach as an Animateur Nature Espaces Naturels Sensibles for the Département de l'Isère and gained experience in community organizing as an organizer and trainer with Alliance Citoyenne. Education includes a Master 2 in political science from Sciences Po Grenoble, obtained between 2007 and 2009.
