Melanie Prevost

Melanie Prevost is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in managing information technology infrastructure and technical support services. Since August 1995, Melanie has served as the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and Technical Support Services at Vinson & Elkins, where responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure across multiple office locations, including data centers, systems, and telecommunications. Previous roles at Vinson & Elkins included Systems and Networks Manager, Systems Development Manager, Systems Administration and Operations Manager, and Systems Administration Supervisor, all focused on ensuring core systems' availability, security, and reliability. Prior to that, Melanie was the User Services Manager at Lamar University, overseeing user services programs and staff. Melanie holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Computer Science from Lamar University and a high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School.
