Laith Yakob

Laith is a professor of epidemiology at the London School of Hygene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He was one of the founding eight core members of the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team, which support countries responding to disease outbreaks before they can develop into a global threat. He was also a founding member of the Antimicrobial Resistance Centre at LSHTM, where he previously acted as the disciplinary head for Epidemiology and Modelling.
