Ming Chong

Ming Chong is a Pricing Strategy Specialist at Virgin Australia since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ming worked at the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, serving as a Data Scientist and holding various positions including Graduate in Data Science & Advanced Analytics and Data Analyst in Strategy & Innovation from April 2021 to September 2024. Experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant at Sport & Spinal Physiotherapy from July 2020 to July 2022, and completing internships in actuarial pricing at Allianz Life and actuarial valuation at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad. Ming also gained experience in management and leadership roles during time at The Australian National University, where responsibilities included Bar Manager, Treasurer of the Residents Committee, and International Student Advocate. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from The Australian National University, as well as completing the South Australian Certificate of Examinations at Cornerstone College.
