Jonathan Ritchie

Jonathan (J.R.) Ritchie is a seasoned aerospace engineering professional with extensive experience in program and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Program Director for Delta Air Vehicle at Virgin Galactic since December 2020, Ritchie previously held multiple leadership roles at The Spaceship Company from January 2011 to December 2020, including Director and Chief Engineer for the VSS Unity project. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Design Engineer at The NORDAM Group, focusing on business aircraft interiors and structures, as well as engineering roles at Jet Service Enterprises, where responsibilities included developing repair schemes for various aircraft components. Ritchie holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
