Jill Royster

Jill Royster is a seasoned professional in the fields of venture capital and sports entertainment, currently serving as a Venture Partner at Powerhouse Capital since October 2020. Royster has been a member of the Board of Trustees at The Virginia Athletics Foundation since 2021 and maintains an active role as an investor in early-stage companies, particularly those that are female-led. From 2016 to 2021, Royster chaired the Board for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia, promoting education on social entrepreneurship. Prior experience includes strategic roles at CSM Sport & Entertainment, USA TODAY, Sentient Jet, Sports Illustrated, and Octagon, where Royster contributed significantly to business development, innovative partnerships, and revenue generation. Royster earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and pursued continuing education at the International Center of Photography.
