Travis Judkins is a board member at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. Travis has also worked as the senior pastor at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church of Chesapeake and as a radio talk show host. Judkins has been committed to working with socioeconomically deprived communities throughout their career. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they implemented a feeding program that fed over 2000 individuals. Judkins is also an interim pastor at Asbury Christian Fellowship Church.
Travis T. Judkins has a PhD in New Testament from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, an EdD in Educational Evaluation and Research; University and Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a PhD in African-American Spirituality from Oblate School of Theology, and is a Fellow of the Black Theological Leadership Institute at Princeton Theological Seminary. Travis also has an M.Div. in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament from Shaw University, an M.A. in Organizational Management from Virginia University of Lynchburg, and an A.A. and B.A. in Liberal Arts and Science from Virginia University of Lynchburg. Travis is certified in Executive Leadership from LinkedIn.
