Gordon Meriwether

Gordon Meriwether has extensive experience in pastoral leadership and crisis management. Currently serving as the Director of Congregational Vitality for the Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church and Pastor at Mt. Horeb UMC since November 2018, Gordon previously held multiple pastoral roles from July 2012 to June 2018, including positions at West Point United Methodist Church and The Greene Charge. Gordon's earlier career includes founding The Uriah Group, Inc., focusing on crisis leadership training for various organizations, and serving as a Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 1970 to 2001. Gordon holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University, an MBA from The George Washington University, and a BA in Political Science from The University of Alabama.
