Zedong Wu

Zedong Wu is an accomplished geophysicist with extensive experience in research and academia. Currently serving as a Lead Researcher at CGG since October 2018, Zedong Wu has held multiple positions within the company, including Senior Research Geophysicist and Staff Research Geophysicist. Prior to CGG, Zedong Wu worked as a Research Scientist and Postdoc at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology from December 2012 to October 2018. Additional experience includes a Visiting Researcher role at both the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Texas at Austin - Institute for Geophysics. Zedong Wu also served as an Assistant Professor at ICT, CAS from July 2012 to November 2014. Zedong Wu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Mathematics from LSEC, CAS between 2007 and 2012 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Sichuan University, completed in 2007.
