Bud Pope

Bud Pope is the current director at Virridy. Prior to this, they were the CEO and founder of Spatial Energy from January 2004 to January 2016. There, they focused on remote sensing and cloud solutions for energy companies. Bud then had a successful exit with DigitalGlobe in 2014. From January 2003 to December 2004, Bud Pope was the general manager for energy at Digital Globe. There, they established initial energy products and captured key global oil/gas contracts. Before that, from January 2000 to December 2003, they were the general manager and executive vice president for land products at Input/Output Inc. There they led a 1100 person operating unit worldwide for a seismic technology company that did research and development, sales, manufacturing, and finance. Additionally, they have been the CEO and president of Green Mountain Geophysics from January 1991 to January 1999 and the CFO of Solbourne Computer from January 1987 to December 1990. Lastly, they were the controller at NBI from January 1980 to December 1987 and an audit supervisor at KPMG from August 1978 to June 1980.

Bud Pope has a degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder. Bud is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a certification from the State of Colorado.
