Rehan Jalil

Rehan Jalil is a highly successful entrepreneur, investor and security industry visionary. As the founder, President & CEO of Elastica he grew the company from an idea to becoming a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader in CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker). He was instrumental in defining the emerging CASB space which became the most sought-after new category in cybersecurity and was named one of the Top 25 Disruptor Enterprise CEOs of 2015.

Mr. Jalil led Elastica to a successful acquisition by Blue Coat, which was then acquired by Symantec where he became SVP & GM for Cloud Security. He played an instrumental role in the evolution of Symantec to be a cloud generation company and grew their CloudSOC security platform to be the fastest growing across the entire Symantec portfolio for 7 quarters, with high triple digit growth in every quarter.

Prior to this he was the President & CEO of WiChorus leading them through inception to merger with Tellabs where he became an SVP. He has also held senior management and engineering roles at Aperto Networks, Sun Microsystems, and Siemens.

Mr. Jalil holds an AMP from Harvard Business School, an MSEE from Purdue University and BEEE from NED University, and has over 25 patents granted or pending.
