Amod Puranik

Amod Puranik is an accomplished professional in the fields of cybersecurity, operations, and information and communication technology (ICT), currently serving as Director - Head Cyber Security Governance & Data Security at Virtusa since May 2021. Prior to this role, Puranik was the Head Of Operations at Medtronic LABS from April 2019 to April 2021, contributing to the mission of alleviating pain and restoring health globally. Puranik also founded BizNxt, focusing on open-source systems and cybersecurity services from June 2017 to March 2019. With significant military experience, Puranik served in various capacities in the Indian Army, including leadership roles at the Defence Services Staff College and Army War College, managing IT operations and team development. Puranik's educational background includes a PGPX in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and degrees in Telecom and Information Technology, as well as Physical Sciences from esteemed military institutions.
