Gustavo Turquia

Gustavo Turquia is an experienced professional in the financial services and fintech industries, currently serving as the Country Manager for Visa in the Dominican Republic and Caribbean since December 2018. Previously, Gustavo held key roles at Visa, including Executive Director and Head of Merchant Sales in Brazil, and Director of Merchant Sales and Acquiring. As a Co-Founder of Alpes One Tecnologia de Performance from January 2017 to June 2021 and as Chief Commercial Officer at Adiq Payments, Gustavo was integral in business development and strategic decision-making. At Banco Bonsucesso, Gustavo progressed through various leadership positions, ultimately becoming Head of Sales for Cards & Payments, where responsibilities included coordinating sales teams and managing strategic partner relationships. Gustavo's educational background includes a Post Graduation in Marketing & Financial Management from Fundação Dom Cabral and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fundação Escola e Comércio Álvares Penteado, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Centro Universitário UNA and an Executive Program at London Business School.
