Earlier experience includes significant roles at Ecobank Transnational, where Vak-Stephens led corporate finance and investment banking efforts in the West Africa region, and at New City Capital, specializing in market assessments and due diligence. An MBA graduate from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Vak-Stephens also completed executive programs at INSEAD and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, and holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Cape Coast.
