Lachlan Young

Lachlan Young is a Senior Software Engineer currently employed at Visibuild since September 2023, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit as evidenced by the founding of HotHack, an annual hackathon in the Brisbane Tech Ecosystem that fosters connections between seniors and juniors. With extensive mentorship experience at Lachlan Codes Australia since June 2021, Lachlan has led multiple React and HTML/CSS cohorts and workshops. Prior roles include Senior Software Developer at Calyptia Inc. and Software Developer at Tanda, otso, Max Kelsen, and SiteSee, where Lachlan gained expertise in various technologies including React, Kubernetes, and database management. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Game and Interactive Media Design from the University of Canberra and an Advanced Diploma in Interactive Digital Media from TAFE Queensland.
