Fodié Maguiraga is a social anthropologist and public health professional specialized in qualitative research and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). At Vital wave, Mr. Maguiraga has led the analysis on the digital readiness of five West and Central African countries for COVID-19 deployment. He has over 14 years of career and worked with international NGOs (Save the Children, CARE USA, The institute for reproductive health (IRH), Family Health International (FHI360), International Rescue Committee (IRC), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Interpeace, Internews and USAID). He also provided technical support to the ministries of Health in Mali and Burkina Faso and served as Technical Assistant for the COVID-19 task force in Mali. Fluent in French, English and Bambara, he performed several consulting enagements across West and Central Africa (Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, DRC) He holds a Master in Public Health (MPH), a certificate in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University (USA), a gender Integration Training certificate from Stanford University and a Matrise in Socioanthropology (Mali).
