Philip Johnson

Philip is the visionary behind VitalEngine. As a practicing physician, he saw the numerous communication issues that disrupted patient care and sought a viable solution. The team’s hands-on leader, he is actively involved in every aspect of the platform’s development. Philip is a graduate of UAB Medical School and board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. He also earned a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at UAB and a double major in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt University.
