Annabel Ansel

Annabel Ansel is a scientist with extensive experience in organic chemistry and catalysis. Currently serving as a Scientist I at Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. since September 2023, Annabel previously held similar roles at Entos, Inc. and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Minnesota under Professor Courtney Roberts, focusing on aryne complexes and metallaphotoredox catalysis. Annabel's graduate research at the University of Michigan involved significant work on C–H activation and polysaccharide synthesis under Professor John Montgomery. Educationally, Annabel earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a BA in Chemistry and Economics from St. Olaf College, graduating summa cum laude. Early career experience includes roles as a Quality Control Analyst and research positions at Amerilab Technologies and St. Olaf College.
