Brent Shive

Brent Shive is a seasoned healthcare management professional with a robust background in operational performance improvement and consulting. Currently serving as Principal of Member Performance at Vizient, Inc. since January 2022, Brent has previously held significant roles including Director at Guidehouse, where contributions to healthcare management sales and solutions were instrumental following the acquisition of Navigant in 2019. Prior experience includes Managing Director at BWS Health, LLC, and Region Vice President at Premier Inc., where Brent enabled healthcare providers to enhance quality and reduce costs. Earlier career milestones include founding VHA’s national healthcare consulting practice and directing the Physician Practice Management Institute at SunHealth, Inc. Educational credentials include a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA in Health Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
