Andy Pieters

Andy Pieters currently serves as a Vlaams volksvertegenwoordiger at the Vlaams Parlement, presiding over the Commission on Economy, Work, Social Economy, Science, and Innovation, while also participating in several other committees, including mobility and public works. Prior to this role, Andy Pieters was involved with the Flemish government as a Chief of Cabinet and spokesperson for Minister Zuhal Demir, also holding various positions in organizations such as LRM NV and OPZC Rekem. Additional experience includes serving on the board of Flanders Make and leadership roles in local government, such as the Chairman of the Municipal Council of Maasmechelen. Andy Pieters holds an engineering degree in Construction from XIOS Hogeschool Limburg.
