Sven Pletinckx

Sven Pletinckx is a seasoned professional in data management and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of the Data Platform Department at Digitaal Vlaanderen since September 2015. This department focuses on unlocking and integrating data essential for the digital transformation of Flanders, ensuring reliable data registers, seamless integration, insightful analyses, and excellent governance. In prior roles at Digitaal Vlaanderen, Sven has been instrumental as the Head of the Data Solutions Unit and managed the MAGDA data exchange platform, which facilitates data sharing among various Flemish government agencies. Sven's earlier experience includes positions such as BI Project Manager and Business Analyst at Vlaamse Overheid, along with functional leadership roles in IT and reporting. Sven holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from LUCA School of Arts.
