Jeffrey Brand

Jeffrey Brand is a seasoned professional with a focus on environmental policy and nature-based solutions. As a Senior Policy Officer at Vogelbescherming Nederland since January 2021, Jeffrey advises on national water policy and natural climate buffers while serving as a member of the works council. Concurrently, Jeffrey coordinates public relations for the Trésor Foundation, facilitating communication between donors and partners in French Guiana and The Netherlands. Previous roles include board member at Vereniging Tropische Bossen, trainee positions at Rijkswaterstaat, and research intern at WWF-Netherlands, where significant work was conducted on forest landscape restoration. Jeffrey holds a Master's degree in Environmental Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Utrecht University, complemented by early experiences in management and education assistance.
