Christina Cerqueira

Christina Cerqueira is an experienced media professional with a strong background in video production and digital communication. As a Documentary Commissioning Editor at Voice of America from June 2022 to May 2024, Christina specialized in hiring film crews and collaborating with filmmakers to bring unique stories to life. Previous roles include Video Producer/Strategist at Tripadvisor, where content was created to inspire travel, and Senior Digital Video Producer at AJ+, focusing on daily political and cultural content while managing the editorial team. Christina has also worked as a Virtual Collaboration Strategist for MetroStar Systems at the U.S. Department of State, designing training models to combat drug trafficking, and held various positions in digital broadcasting and production at the U.S. Department of State and Al Jazeera Media Network. Christina holds a Master’s degree in International Communication from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Union College.
