Oksana Bedratenko

Oksana Bedratenko is an accomplished journalist and analyst with extensive experience in Ukrainian economic and political reporting. Currently serving as a journalist at Voice of America since April 2017 and a contributor to the Atlantic Council, Oksana provides insightful analysis on Ukraine. Previous roles include Ukraine and Eurasia Analyst at the Independent and Senior Local Economist at the Department of State from February 2009 to August 2016, where Oksana contributed to key State Department reports. Oksana held positions as Executive Director of the Agro-chemical Committee at the European Business Association and as an Economic Specialist at the US Embassy in Kyiv. Oksana's educational background includes a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the University of London and dual master's degrees in Political Science and Economics from Kyiv National University.
